The Four Tiers
What is SquashMark?
SquashMark is Scottish Squash's official accreditation scheme for member clubs, built to recognise good practice across safeguarding, club management, coaching provision, facilities and inclusion.
Clubs move through a structured self-assessment and verification process, receiving practical support at every stage from the Scottish Squash team. Accreditation is reviewed via an annual check-in to keep standards current.
The scheme is designed to be achievable for clubs of every size from single-court community clubs to large multi-section venues.
Governance

Experience

- Increase member confidence and attract new players
- Access tailored support and resources from Scottish Squash
- Gain public recognition and credibility
- Strengthen club structures for long-term sustainability
It depends on your club's starting point and the level you are working towards. Some clubs may be ready within weeks, while others may take longer. There's no deadline — it's about sustainable development.
SquashMark is free to all Scottish Squash affiliated clubs. There is no application or renewal fee at any tier.
We'll have a yearly review, at which point clubs can:
- Renew at the same level
- Progress to the next level
- Receive updated support based on any changes in requirements
That's okay. SquashMark is about progress, not perfection. Our team will support you in identifying gaps, making improvements and reaching the standards in a way that suits your club.
