Scottish Squash are seeking individuals with expertise and experience in equality, diversity and inclusion to join our external Diversity & Inclusion Working Group.   

The group will provide support and advice around equality, diversity & inclusion to the organisation on a strategic level and against the Equality Action Plan.  

We’re seeking individuals from a range of backgrounds who, collectively, will bring diversity in thought, expertise and relevant experience in squash, other sports and other sectors. Ideally you will have strong communication skills and have the ability to provide constructive feedback. Members of the external Diversity & Inclusion Working Group will act as champions of equality, diversity & inclusion for squash in Scotland. 

This is a voluntary role. Relevant travel/subsistence expenses will be reimburshed to group members where they are are asked to carry out duties connected to the working group.

The length of tenure for each group member is two years, at which point all memberships may be subject to review.

Expressions of interests close on Sunday 2nd July.

Bridge of Allan Sports Club is currently looking to recruit a new Head Squash Coach to lead the squash coaching programme at the club.

Key duties for the role include:

  • Running junior coaching sessions grouped by ability
  • Running senior coaching sessions grouped by ability
  • Collaborating with the admin team to ensure the smooth operation of the squash program
  • Organising or supporting tournaments held at the club
  • Growing squash participation by suggesting and organising events such as open days and parent/child events in coordination with the admin team and other sports coaches
  • Supporting membership growth through squash outreach programs in schools
  • Running school holiday multi-sport camps
  • Pro-actively supporting Scottish Squash initiatives
