We are currently recruiting for assistant coaches for the Scottish Squash Development Squad, part of the Performance Pathway Programme.

The Development Squad is designed to guide young players through the process of developing all the necessary attributes for them to begin to compete at the top level. The programme will be holistic to develop all the necessary attributes a top junior squash player requires with a strong focus on technical, skill and tactical development and coached at a level that all athletes involved will understand. Positions available: 

2 x assistant coaches for West squads – 2 squads in total 

  • coaching fee & travel 
  • Squad 1: Newlands LTC, Glasgow – October 20th 2024 
  • Squad 2: Bridge of Allan SC – December 1st 2024 

 

2 x assistant coaches for East squads – 2 squads in total 

  • coaching fee & travel 
  • Squad 1: Edinburgh Sports Club (TBC) – March 2nd 2025 
  • Squad 2: Oriam, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh – June 15th 2025 

 

2 x assistant coaches for North squads – 2 squads in total 

  • coaching fee & travel 
  • Squad 1: Aberdeen SRC – January 25th 2025 
  • Squad 2: Inverness Tennis & Squash Club – April 27th 2025 

Criteria for lead and assistant coaches: 

  • Level 2 and above
