The Scottish National League is a competition organised by Scottish Squash where clubs compete to become National Club Champions. The competition runs a Men’s and Women’s league and the winners from each league qualify to compete in the European Club Championships, a prestigious honour.

2024/25 Competition

Entries into the Men’s and Women’s Scottish National League for season 2023/24 are now being accepted.

Clubs can enter teams by completing the online application form available here. Entries close on Sunday 1st September 2024. Copies of the (updated) league rules with the full details can be found here.

The timeline below will provide clubs with an approximate schedule that the league is aiming to work to but please allow for flexibility as we understand the level of interest for National League.

League timeline:

• Week beginning 5th August 2024 – Entries open
• Sunday 1st September 2024, 23:59 – Entries close

Fixtures will be scheduled appropriately to support all clubs to participate in the league. Therefore, some fixtures may take place on a Tuesday evening where teams competing are located close to each other and other fixtures may take place on a weekend where longer travel is required. Weekend fixtures may be scheduled with multiple teams meeting in one location to facilitate participation and fixture completion.

Further information on the format of the league and scheduling will be shared with Team Captains once a better understanding is gained on how many clubs wish to compete.

Entry Fee: £65 per team

Squash in Scotland Membership

Please note with the introduction of the new Squash in Scotland membership from 1st October 2022, those clubs entering National League require a Squash+ club membership. Individual players registered as part of club squads will also require an individual Squash in Scotland Player membership.
