B Internationals 2016
This weekend Scotland hosted the annual B Internationals event which brings together Scotland, Ireland & Wales’s best future prospects to gain valuable international competitive experience. Scotland have a strong group of young up and coming players based out of Heriot Watt and a number of promising juniors doing well on the European junior scene and therefore decided to enter two teams of split strength in the event. The weekends matches proved a great test for all the players involved and allowed the young players to gain experience of competing under the pressure that comes with representing your country at senior level.
Overall it was a great weekend of squash, the players proved what a talented and promising group of players we have with Scotland 1 winning the event beating Wales in the final 5-2. Scotland A finished 3rd after beating Ireland 7-0 in the ¾ play-off.
