Squash in Scotland membership provides a way for squash players across the country to enjoy great benefits while helping to grow and protect the sport we love. Squash players can register as Player or a Supporter.

Player Membership

(£17 per year fee— just £1.40/month, or £6 for a 5-day pass)

If you play squash regularly, especially in leagues or competitions, we encourage you to join as a Player member.

Your membership fee pays for personal insurance whilst playing squash, access to SportyHQ competitions and contributes to national community and development programmes.

All Player members receive personal accident insurance via Aviva.

So if you’re diving for that impossible drop shot, the only thing you’ll need to worry about is winning the rally.

2. SportyHQ access and match tracking

Over 10,000 squash matches in Scotland are recorded on SportyHQ every year and is used by regions to manage their leagues.

Player members can, Record and track their games, measure progress over time and connect with potential opponents.

3. Eligibility for competitions

Our regional associations use SportyHQ to run their multi-club leagues and registration is required play for a team.

Players can also enter Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Masters circuit events hosted at Scottish clubs.

4. Grow the game

A percentage of the registration fee goes towards supporting grass roots programmes such as schoolsquash and H//T squash, helping  to introduce the game to new players, and to ensure that squash in Scotland is sustainable now and in the future.  

5. Protect squash and keep it safe

A percentage of the registration fee goes towards club administration, ensuring clubs meet safeguarding standards, respond to player concerns quickly and effectively and support child protection officers where needed.

You can sign up via SportyHQ:

  1. Search for Scottish Squash (Squash in Scotland).

  2. Click the green Sign-Up button.

Your club will let you know if they plan to automatically register you as a Player member.
