Competition Update – February 2022

Plenty of exciting plans are developing across Scotland for everyone to get involved in competitions throughout 2022. The 2022 calendar offers opportunities domestically for all ages and standards of players to find a relevant competition. If you’re more interested in getting involved in competitions without stepping onto the court, there are also exciting spectator opportunities in the coming months. Later this year Glasgow will be set for a historic staging of the 2022 WSF World Doubles Squash Championships which will be the first time that this event is hosted in Scotland. The event will take place at the upgraded Scotstoun Leisure Centre operated by Glasgow Life between the 5th – 9th April. Further information here.

 

Due to scheduling conflicts with recently added Professional Squash Association events, Scottish Squash can confirm a change to the Scottish Senior National Championships which was scheduled to take place between the 18 – 20 March at Edinburgh Sports Club. This competition will now take place at Edinburgh Sports Club between 10 – 12 June 2022. Full information here.
