Special thanks to JC Lindsay

As the 2025 tournament is officially announced, this moment also marks the conclusion of an incredible eight-year partnership with title sponsor JC Lindsay, an association that has culminated in a legacy of growth, opportunity, and inspiration for the next generation of players.

From 2017 to 2024, JC Lindsay were instrumental in supporting the Scottish Junior Open as the title sponsor, helping to elevate the event to one of the most respected junior squash competitions in Europe. Their commitment has provided essential backing for the tournament’s expansion, allowing it to welcome participants from across the globe and solidifying Scotland’s place on the international squash map.

Scottish Squash would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to JC Lindsay for their generous support and shared commitment to providing competitive opportunities for Scotland’s junior squash community. Their sponsorship has not only enabled the event to flourish but has also helped countless junior players experience competition at the highest levels in a professional and welcoming environment.

Reflecting on the partnership, Managing Director of JC Lindsay, Chris Green said:

It’s been an absolute privilege to sponsor the SJO over the years. Sadly, life throws curveballs and sometimes lob serves – we might not be part of this year’s event, but we’re cheering from the sidelines and wish Scottish Squash and any future sponsors in line the very best with this brilliant, high-energy competition.

Equally, Scottish Squash CEO Paul Macari expressed gratitude and optimism for the future of the event:

“We are extremely grateful to JC Linsday for their long-term sponsorship of the Scottish Junior Open. Development of the junior pathway and our major events is integral to the future of the sport, and JC Lindsay have been a key part of those endeavours in recent years. The Scottish Junior Open has thrived since their first association and now proudly anchors our junior calendar over the Christmas period.

We express our sincere thanks to Chris Green and all at JC Lindsay, and look forward to a fantastic edition of the event this December.”
