About the Scottish Junior Open
The 2025 Scottish Junior Open will take place in Edinburgh from 28th – 30th December 2025. Scottish Squash looks forward to welcoming the best young players from around the world to our premier youth event.
The event is an ESF Silver sanctioned competition.
Categories: Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 19
Please note Under 11 categories are not recognised for ranking purposes by the ESF.

Venues
Grange Sports Club and Oriam (Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh) are the hosts of the 2025 JC Lindsay Scottish Junior Open. The decision of which age categories will be hosted by which venue will take place upon review of entries after the closing date by the tournament organisers.
All age group finals and 3rd/4th play-off matches as well as the medal presentation will take place at Oriam on Tuesday 30th December. All remaining play-off matches will likely remain at the venue which they started at but further information will be available throughout the competition.

Casual Referees
To ensure the successful delivery of the tournament, Scottish Squash are recruiting casual referees to assist qualified referees on site. Please sign up here or email info@scottishsquash.org if you would like to know more.
Competition Shuttle Bus Schedule
A free shuttle bus service will be operating between Oriam and Grange Sports Club between the 28th and 30th December. A schedule and full information will be released in advance of the tournament. Please note the pick-up/drop-off locations at each venue.
Oriam/Hotel: Courtyard By Marriot Hotel carpark (located outside the glass automated doors beside the hotel reception)
Grange: Car park outside main entrance.
Practice Courts
Scottish Squash will have a limited provision of free practice courts on 27th December. Booking information will be released by email. For those who have taken tournament packages, there will be an opportunity for priority booking.
