Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport – Virtual Course

Scottish Squash have arranged to run Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport courses in March & April. The next courses available will take place on the following days (please note you only need to attend on one day):

  • Thursday 18th March, 18:00 – 21:00
  • Wednesday 21st April, 18:00 – 21:00

There is also a requirement to complete a course module online 1 week prior to attending the virtual course. Details of the online module will be shared by the course tutor. You can find out further information about the course on the sportscotland website by clicking here.

Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport (CWPS) replaces the previous Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SPC) course and is recommended to be updated every 3 years. The qualification also requires to be valid for coaches to hold an active Coach Licence or apply for a Coach Licence.

This course is open to any volunteer, coach, club member or parent who is 16 years or older.

This course will be delivered fully online and has a maximum of 20 spaces, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The link to join the course will be shared with registered candidates shortly before the 18th March.

Course cost – £15 per candidate. Details on how to make payment will be sent following registration.
