Scottish Junior Open 2025 – Join the team

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers aged 14 and over to help deliver Scotland’s biggest junior event.

Around 200 players from around the world will compete, giving volunteers an opportunity to be part of an international sporting event, while gaining valuable skills and experience.

Volunteers can get involved in a range of areas based on their interests – from event operations to media support and hospitality. Whatever your interests, we’ll tailor the role to suit your strengths and areas which you would be interested in supporting.

All volunteers will receive an induction and support, with meals provided during shifts.

Volunteers aged 14-25 can earn hours towards the Young Squash Champions Volunteering Award, gain great experience for CVs and university applications, and have the chance to meet members of the squash community from all corners of the world.

All shifts are flexible, and will last for around 3 to 5 hours, subject to agreement between the volunteer and Scottish Squash staff.
