Senior National Championships: Join the Event Crew
We’re building an Event Crew for the Senior National Championships at Newlands on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, and we want you to get involved.
If you’re aged 12-25 and want real, hands-on experience at a professional squash event, this is the opportunity for you.
Whether you’d like to get closer to the action, boost your CV or have ambitions to work in sport – you’ll be a part of the year’s biggest squash event, with Scotland’s top players in action.
Tournament Assistant (Ideal for ages 12+)
Work with event staff to support the smooth running of the tournament.
Duties may include:
- Court service
- Collecting and delivering scoresheets
- Entering match scores
- Supporting with event photographs
Options: Saturday 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm, Sunday 12pm – 3.30pm
Streaming Assistant (Ideal for ages 16+)
Work with event staff to support livestreaming of the event.
Duties may include:
- Supporting with set-up
- Changing graphics as required
- Support with live scoring
- Responding to technical issues
Options: Saturday 10am – 1pm, Sunday 11am – 2pm

This is an exciting opportunity to support Scotland’s most competitive squash event.
All volunteers will have a point of contact during their experience, and hours can be counted towards the Young Squash Champions Volunteering Award.
