Charity Squash Exhibition Match: Young Scots take on Legendary James Willstrop

Sunday 25th August is set to be a fantastic day of squash at Scotstoun Leisure Centre, as rising Scottish squash star Rory Stewart (Scottish #4 and World #123) takes on the legendary James Willstrop in a Charity Exhibition Match.

Willstrop, the former world #1, current Commonwealth Games Singles Gold Medallist and current British National Champion will have a busy schedule on the day, as he puts two junior groups through their paces before putting his talents on display on the show court.

The exhibition matches will kick off at 3.30pm. Willstrop will play a game against both Ruadhri McDougall and John Meehan (current Scottish Under 19 National Champion), both from Strathgryffe, followed by the top bill of Willstrop vs Stewart at approximately 4.15pm.

There will also be a charity raffle up for grabs in the afternoon, with various items kindly donated by a range of professionals up for grabs.

All proceeds from the event will go toward our two designated charities, Lisa’s Gift, in memory of Lisa Moran, and the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research.
