Scottish Squash welcome Donna to the team

Scottish Squash is delighted to announce the appointment of Donna Cruickshank to the position of part-time Project Administrator

Donna, who will be a familiar face to many in Scotland’s squash community, joined in June after a career in Project Management across multiple industries and multiple countries.

She will support the Executive Team in the delivery of a range of projects planned over the next two years.

Key projects include: Planning and delivering a 6 month consultation programme with the squash community in the lead up to Scottish Squash launching a new strategy for the sport in Scotland; Co-ordinating the implementation of a new digital strategy to maximise technology and systems to grow participation, data collection and membership engagement; Support a working group to establish a charitable organisation to support the growth of younger people playing the sport; and Support the organisation in the development of a new facilities strategy.

Donna said: “Having played squash competitively for over 40 years, I am excited to join the Scottish Squash team to support the delivery of key strategic projects.

“My interest has always been around sport so I am pleased to be moving into a position where I can utilise and develop my project management experience within a sports environment.

“I am passionate about supporting the growth of squash in Scotland and very much looking forward to getting stuck in”
