What is it?
The Young Squash Champions Volunteering Award is an awards scheme to recognise the contribution of young volunteers to squash in Scotland.
Keep doing the great work you’re already doing – or start volunteering – and log your hours on a simple tracker.
As you hit key milestones, you’ll unlock a range of rewards to recognise your contribution!
How does it work?
- Fill in this sign-up form.
- We’ll send you a tracker to log your hours.
- Once you reach a milestone, have your hours verified by someone who co-ordinates your volunteering.
- Email your tracker to info@scottishsquash.org and claim your rewards!

How do I sign-up?
All you need to do is complete this form and we will share your volunteer tracker with you!
When can I start tracking hours?
You can start tracking your hours as soon as you receive your hour tracking form!
Volunteering hours can only be counted towards the Young Squash Champions Volunteering Award when earned after the date you sign up.
What age do I need to be to take part?
The Young Squash Volunteer Champions Award is open to anyone volunteering to grow squash aged between 12 and 25.
What voluntary roles are covered?
There is no strict limit. You could be supporting a coach, helping with club social media or running a squash club at your school.
There’s no exact list, if you’re unsure whether your role counts, email info@scottishsquash.org to double check!
How do I share my progress with you?
Once you hit a milestone, email info@scottishsquash.org and share your tracker to let us know!
Why 12-25 year olds?
The Young Squash Champions Volunteering Award aligns with some of Scotland’s major volunteer recognition schemes, including The Saltire Awards (12-25) and The Duke of Edinburgh Award (14-24).
The Award also aims to build a culture of volunteering amongst young squash players to ensure the sustainability of the sport while encouraging the sport’s leaders of the future!
