Scottish Squash launches Women and Girls Coaching Network
Scottish Squash is delighted to announce the creation of a Women and Girls Coaching Network, with a launch event scheduled to take place at Newlands Lawn Tennis Club on Sunday 24th August.
Fewer than 15% of active licensed coaches are female, despite women and girls making up 25% of the player base.
Additionally, there are no female coaches currently supporting the Performance Pathway and Academy squads.
The network aims to address these imbalances by:
- Boosting coaching confidence in women and girls
- Building a strong, supportive community of female coaches
- Sharing opportunities, updates and inspiration across the network
Whether you’re a qualified coach, someone leading club sessions or completely new to coaching and curious to learn – this network is for you!
