Aberdeen confirmed to host Scottish leg of Home Internationals in 2026
Scottish Squash are pleased to announce the Masters Home Internationals will return to Aberdeen in spring 2026, with recently crowned Scottish Club of the Year Aberdeen Squash & Racketball Club confirmed to host the Scottish leg from 24-25 April. The news comes following consultations with the Masters Working Group, and marks the event’s first visit to the Granite City since 2018 for the Home Nations, who will once again compete at one of Scotland’s most established squash destinations.
ASRC Manager Josh Monro was delighted to welcome the news following a successful bid for the event: “We are very proud and excited to host the Home Internationals in 2026 and welcome the event back to ASRC. We hope to do the event justice and are looking forward to seeing all the top players represent their country with pride in Aberdeen.”
In 2026, Scotland will host three age categories: the Women’s Over 50s, Men’s Over 50s, and Men’s Over 70s. With national pride on the line and decades of experience on court across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, the Home Internationals once again promises high-quality squash alongside the unique camaraderie that defines the masters game.
Scottish Squash CEO Paul Macari also reflected on the return to Aberdeen: “We look forward to partnering with ASRC for a successful event and welcoming the teams up north to Grampian next spring. The Home Internationals are always a special weekend and are a key component of the Scottish Masters season, one which players embrace and look forward to year after year. While we’ll be proudly supporting our home teams, we’re equally looking forward to welcoming players and supporters from across the Home Nations.”
