Scottish Squash are excited to announce our Gala Dinner and Awards evening to take place at our new home in the Oriam, Scotland’s High Performance Centre for Sport, at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh on Saturday March 17th from 7pm until midnight.

The event will recognise squash achievements in 2017 and it will be a great celebration for the Scottish Squash Commonwealth Games Team as they head to the Gold Coast.

We want to celebrate our successes from Junior, Senior and Masters competition and recognise the contributions of people in squash.  We will enjoy a meal and a Ceilidh dance and wish our performance team the best of luck in the Commonwealth Games. We will share all the positive energy we can to help them to bring home a Commonwealth Games medal.

The event will also be used to raise funds to support the Scottish Squash Juniors to travel to the World Junior Team and Individual Championships in India in July 2018.

Tickets will be £40 total cost per person and this includes a 3 course meal, a drink upon arrival and a Ceilidh dance. Please contact to book your place as numbers are limited to 150.

At the event we will present the Scottish Squash Annual Awards. We recognise that the timing is not perfect as we are a little late for 2016/17 and we have not completed the 2017/18 Squash season; however, we hope you will agree that this opportunity is too good to miss. We have so many people contributing great things to squash in Scotland, we would like these awards to relate to the 2016 / 17 season up to current date. We will create more opportunities to celebrate the anticipated great Scottish performances for 2017/18. If you can identify an individual or team who has made an impact in any of the areas below we want to hear from you:

  • Male player of the year
  • Female player of the year
  • Junior player of the year
  • Masters player of the year
