Volunteers are the lifeblood of sport and activity in this country and without volunteers sport as we know it in Scotland would cease to function. Therefore, volunteering is increasingly becoming an area of importance and focus for the Scottish Executive, sportscotland and as a key target within Sport 21: the National Strategy for Sport.
Volunteers are vital to the development of squash in Scotland, as is true of every other sport, hence it is important that squash can demonstrate the role played by volunteers by establishing what support can be provided to assist volunteers and by determining how many volunteers are involved in squash. Scottish Squash is therefore asking each club to complete a short survey to help us to plan to better support volunteers in squash and to prove to our key partners how many volunteers give their time to support our sport! Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and help us to recognise the work of squash volunteers in Scotland !
