A welcome from the East of Scotland Squash Association

Are you looking to participate in an activity that can offer you exercise? Competition? Social interaction?
One that caters for 5 - 65 year olds? Then the game of squash is for you.
Here in the East we are working to promote the game through Schools, Clubs and Community Centres to provide opportunities for all members of the community to experience the game.

Clubs
There are 26 Clubs operating in the East many of which offer Junior, Senior and competitive opportunities. For details of the nearest Club to you contact either Scottish Squash on 0131 317 7343 or visit the East of Scotland Squash website which has details of all the East clubs and their websites.

Junior Development
We have a junior committee in the East whose job it is to organise and co-ordinate various playing and coaching opportunities for our aspiring youngsters. We have a successful junior league running, where players play in teams based on ability rather than age. There are also local competitions for all age groups played throughout the season. If you want further details on dates or venues contact Dave Ferguson 0131 667 3589 or John Bain 0131 332 2036.

Senior Development
Many clubs run club nights where players of all standards can play and meet and often have internal leagues for players; again for all standards to participate in. We are currently trying to organise coaching opportunities for adult beginners, social players and the over 55’s in some of Edinburgh Leisure’s venues.

Disability SportsDisability Sports
With our policy of social inclusion and participation for all we actively work to involve players with disabilities at all levels of participation and competition at whatever level each individual feels comfortable.

Coach EducationCoach Education
