JC Lindsay Scottish Junior Open 2017
This seasons Scottish Junior Open returns between Christmas and New Year and will be held at Edinburgh Sports Club and The Grange Club from Thursday 28th December – Saturday 30th December 2017.
In order to ensure the successful delivery of the event we are recruiting for a number of different voluntary positions. The various opportunities are detailed below and anyone interested in registering their interest for any of the positions should e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Whether you can support over the full 3 days or just a couple of hours on one of the days we want to hear from you.
- Referees – Scottish Squash are looking for referees to support the team of qualified referees with the officiating at the event. Whether you hold a referee qualification or not but are interested in the rules of squash this is a great chance to join the Referee Team. You maybe interested in completing a referee qualification in the future so why not give it ago at this friendly but competitive event.
- Drivers – With the event been spread between two venues and the tournament hotel the transport service is key to the players experience. We require a team of drivers to support with the mini-bus shuttle service.
- Photographers – With the event running over two venues and 10 courts we want to be able to capture all the best moments. If you are interested in photography we are looking for your skills to capture the best moments.
- General Assistants – If you are interested in events management or the organisation or squash events we require a team of general assistants that can support the team that deliver the event. This role would support the Tournament Organisers with player registration, player liaison and act as the first point of contact for players and visitors to the event.
